Our History
Entertainment Tonight, A partner site with Asylum Entertainment LLC began with Brian Shaw, AKA DJ B. Dirty, DJ Black Widow, D Rev over fourteen years ago and developed slowly at first as a part time mobile dj service. While holding a full-time job and raising a family by himself Brian was able to bring Asylum-ET into a great number of new ventures. The most recent being Entertainment Tonight
The years to come had brought many weddings, stage performances, dance recitals, clubs and parties. As the years passed the events we attended became countless. We had chances to perform with some of the areas most talented individuals. In 1999 Brian played a small role in a low budget film named Radical Jack on set with Bill Ray Cyrus.
As of 2003 Brian had been asked to take part in 3 more movies. Pillar of light in which he was an extra playing an 1800's farm boy, Landslide where he ended up on set with 2 of the lead actors for a week as different characters as with his daughter getting a role as a stand in. The last movie Brian was in was for Showtime titled Bereft where he was a look alike for one of the main characters for a key point in the movie.
We offer listings on our site in categories specific to event needs such as bands, dj's, caterers and photographers to give our viewers a one stop shop for anything they need to make their event one to remember. We accept applications for each of these vendor types and after approval the vendors listing becomes active on the site.
Viewer feedback attributes to the vendor's overall ranking on entertainment-tonight. Unlike other vendor listings it does not matter how much you pay for a listing. The order that any vendor type displays is controlled by their rank.
Entertainment Tonight is the home of the Nightlife, a blog where you may find just about anything posted like band demo releases, upcoming events, stories about peoples night on the town and many other entertainment related items. We also run some paid advertising on the blog but that is always clear that it is advertising.
